Wreckommendation of the Week: Revisit Your Past

No seriously, revisit your past. The albums you used to enjoy 10 years ago. Even if you aren’t the biggest fan of that shit anymore. Play the music you used to sing along to and enjoy. For me, it’s a ton of nu-metal with some outsiders of the genre like Fear Factory. It’s amazing how I haven’t really listened to this stuff since 2005-ish and I still know the lyrics like I just listened to this stuff last week. This playlist I just created is very very nostalgic and brought back a lot of memories and fun times I had in 2002-2003. A lot of great songs that still hold up and I got the fuck down while making this playlist. For whatever reason, I’ve just been listening to a lot of Mudvayne, System of a Down, Korn and Static-X again. It’s still great! I saw Static-X just 2 weeks ago and they fucking brought it and everyone had fun.

    Of course it would be! Those were the fucking days! I call them the Pre-Golden Age Of Grotesque days.

    Even Slipknot prior to Subliminal Verses were heavy.

    I’m just old school like that, I guess.
