Defeated Sanity was recently shared with me and their approach to death metal is some of the heaviest shit I’ve heard since I discovered Devourment. So this week I wreckommend checking out Defeated Sanity’s latest album: Chapters of Repugnance. This album has progressive/technical/brutal/slam elements and you’ll be left with a broken neck by the time the album is done. The overall bass, tone, drumming and vocal work is the most murderous thing I’ve heard all year. This album just has a gore/torture/homicidal feel to it while maintaining a dark sinister atmosphere and never letting you out of it.
