When I first heard of Vattnet Viskar, it was when Broken Limbs Recordings first signed them on to their roster. I listened to their blackened doom and I was instantly hooked! Now their signed to Century Media, booked their first tour and now have a deal with Burning World Records/Roadburn Records to bring their music over to Europe! This is big, they’ve done so much in such little time…it must be so surreal for them. They definitely deserve it though, their music is great. It’s some of the best black metal I’ve heard in the past couple of years. Their sound is like a blend of Woods of Ypres and Abigail Willams, yet with much more power and their whirlwind riffing captivates me each time. Hell I’m listening to them as I type this and I get dizzy. A good dizzy though, more like being lightheaded due to being high. Vattnet Viskar gets me high.
