From Loudwire: Trent Reznor has found his next project. USA Today reports that he’ll lend his talents to creating the official theme song for the next ‘Call of Duty’ video game.

Reznor told the paper that the song will feature “aggressively sounding” guitar rock in keeping with the theme of the game that “envisions a new Cold War between the U.S. and China.”

The singer says, “There is a lot of reservations and angst and sense of loss and regret and anger bubbling under the surface. So it didn’t make sense to have a gung ho patriotic kind of theme song. It has to feel weighty.”

Expect new How To Destroy Angels in the near future as well. Also, maybe some new NIN…
