Black Sabbath‘s North American touring plans have expanded significantly. The group have announced a wealth of new dates that will see them tour throughout the summer with details available below. The band will be out in support of their new album “13“, which hits stores June 11th.
Oh fucks yeah! Come get your sludge and noise on with Torche and KEN mode coming to a venue near YOU! The tour begins May 10th in Atlanta, GA and lasts until mid June when they finish off their onslaught on the nation at Washington D.C. What a random, delightful announcement this is! Will you be going?
Killswitch Engage announced this little bit of info through their Facebook. The band will be bringing with them As I Lay Dying, Miss May I and Affiance.

Antarctic metal monsters GWAR are kicking off their spring run of dates with a special “Meat and Meet” at the world-famous Grinders in Kansas City, MO. The “Meat and Meet” is scheduled for Monday April 8th from 6-8 PM.
This event is not only for GWAR to drink and eat themselves into a bloated coma with their legions of slavering fans, but to announce and introduce their brand-new and 100% edible “GWAR-B-Q” sauce, personally created for human consumption by none other than GWAR‘s steel-faced guitar player, Balsac, the Jaws of Death.
While I’m not the biggest NIN fan, I do enjoy a ton of his/their work. My wife is going to flip her shit when she hears about this news. I’d love to go see NIN together with her. Here is the statement from Trent:
Nine Inch Nails are touring this year.
I was working with Adrian Belew on some musical ideas, which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show. Calls were made to some friends, lots of new ideas were discussed, and a show was booked – which led to another, which somehow led to a lot of shows.
The band is reinventing itself from scratch and will be comprised of Eric Avery, Adrian Belew, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Ilan Rubin, and me. The first shows will begin this summer, followed by a full-on arena tour of the US this fall, and lots of other dates worldwide to follow through 2014.

Fear Factory have announced more dates for their spring North American tour with Hate Eternal. This co-headliner is kinda weird yet it works somehow. Hate Eternal being straight up pure american death metal and Fear Factory being the beloved metal/industrial infused badassness we’ve loved for 20 years.
A statement from Cradle of Filth’s Facebook regarding their tour with Decapitated and The Faceless:
Cradle Of Filth are really sorry to tell all of their fans that their US tour ’28 Days Closer to Hell’ is going to have to be cancelled, due to US immigration issues beyond the band’s control.
They have been desperately trying to solve these problems, but it has become evident they are not going to be resolved in time for the band to embark on a tour that starts next week.
The band sincerely apologise to all their fans and to the other acts on the tour and want to assure people they have made every effort possible to go ahead with the tour.
Well that sucks. I know there will definitely be some people wanting their money back, but hopefully Decapitated, The Faceless and The Agonist will still be able to tour. Hell, I think Decapitated deserves a headlining US spot anyways right? Let’s hope they can keep their VISA.

Vattnet Viskar is one of those black metal bands that I’m proud to say I was a fan of them right when they were signed to Broken Limbs Recordings. They put out a solid EP and I was forever a fan of theirs. Signing onto Century and now touring, these guys deserve great turnouts and their merch to be sold out night after night. No official confirmation on bands just yet, but the tour dates have been released! Speculation on the Mayhem Facebook Page has been teasing bands since late October. With talks of Rob Zombie headlining and support from Deftones, Killswitch Engage, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Job For A Cowboy and more: if this is a hint then this will be a massive year for Mayhem Fest.
Forward-thinking modern metal outfit A LIFE ONCE LOST is pleased to announce “The Man Machine Tour 2013″ with San Diego doom metal band Author & Punisher and extreme Chicago newcomers Encrust. The band will start out solo for a few dates in early March and will join up with Author & Punisher after a few appearances at SXSW.
