Late October, Long Island space shredders Artificial Brain will be doing a 2 day mini tour through the New England area before they hit the road for Part 2 of the 10 year IndieMerch Anniversary Tour. Accompanying them will be singer Will Smith’s grind/hardcore/doom band Buckshot Facelift, Long Island doom band Grey Skies Fallen and Boston, Massachusetts Thrashers Swarm of Eyes.
Visigoth are on a short West coast tour from Utah to southern California and then north to Canadian territory and the guys are writing up some great tour updates on their Facebook page. Highly interesting fantasy based imaginative writings take place and it’s just an epic novel. Fill your tankard with your finest ales and read the lore that Visigoth has etched in stone. More tales shall be told and this post will be updated accordingly.
Atlanta’s VOLUME IV may have been quiet as of late, but with a huge year ahead of them and many things to announce in the coming months, they’re kicking things off by taking their southern-tinged biker doom riffs on the road and laying waste to the south as well as the east coast.
Dan Briggs, Walter Fancourt, and Matt Lynch, the trio behind the brilliant progressive/jazz act Trioscapes will be back on the road for a brief run of dates beginning on November 30th. Trioscapes will be joined by fellow Greensboro, NC natives, The Bronzed Chorus, for the majority of the shows.
New Orleans rulers of the riff, EYEHATEGOD, will return to Australia for a short but riotous run of live devastation next year. Slated to commence on January 29th, the band will take over Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Speakers will be blown; souls will be broken; lives will be changed forever. A few months later, EYEHATEGOD will pillage their way through Tilburg, The Netherlands for the 2015 edition of Roadburn where they’ll punish ears with two sets of gristly Southern, hardcore blues debauchery on April 9th and 10th.
