Ah, another birthday for another bad ass guitar player whom has inspired me to write some catchy fuckin tunes. Happy Birthday to Stephen Carpenter!!!! The 6-7-8 string king has been laying down riffs for Deftones for about 20 years now and he has obviously done a damn good job because Deftones still runs strong even to this day. Each album they have released has quality music and it’s all laid out by this man right here. From Adrenaline to today, he has always been working hard on new material to keep your headbangin’ for hours and hours. This man is a wizard when it comes to riffing, using many different guitars with many different tuning set ups, he is more than ready to play any Deftones song on or off the road. His attack on the guitar always ends in great results. Thank you Mr. Stephen Carpenter for your music and inspiration. I’ve been a huge fan of your work for the past 8 years (I know, I know. I was late to the Deftones party) and I’ll always crank your music. Happy Birthday man!!!
