Randy Blythe has been released from Czech prison!!!!!! Oh happy day! After a 16 hour court session behind closed doors, the Prague Municipal Court decided to grant Blythe bail, after Blythe’s attorneys had to fork over approximately $400,000. According to Blesk.cz, Blythe boarded a direct flight to New York at approximately 1:00 p.m. CEST (Central European Summer Time, approximately 6am Eastern Standard Time) today. He is expected to land on U.S. this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Prague Municipal Court had this to say:

“The decision was reached yesterday at the end of a closed session,”Martina Lhotáková, spokeswoman for Prague’s Municipal Court, said. ”The only condition of release was the approximately 8 million Czech Koruna bail [which has already been paid],” she added.

However, Blythe will have to return so he may continue the trail for this alleged manslaughter charge. But for now, he can finally see his loved ones and relax in his own palace. Welcome home Randy!!!!
