Asking Alexandria have released a new song through Axe, called “Run Free”, you have to sign up and register and all that before you can download the song but it doesn’t take long at all. You know what, this is a pretty good song. The singing is clear and not whiny, the screams aren’t weak and the music is heavy and catchy. Definitely check it out. Remember, go to Axe and register to download the new song.
All That Remains recently released a new track as well and it’s not bad at all. I don’t think I could stomach an entire album of this kind of music but the single is a good track. Very melodic metalcore, scream/clean vocal styles and catchy riffing. Sh’not bad at all.
The Chariot is premiering a new song on AP called “In”. I truly didn’t like their last album so new material from them isn’t as exciting as some people are making it out to be. The new song is alright, interesting riffing and screaming that sounds similar to the new Exotic Animal Petting Zoo in a way. I am more open than I previously was so I may get into this. I want to hear more.
Lastly we have The Francesco Artusato Project with a music video for the song “The Madness Of…”, which is a progressive instrumental rock track. It’s definitely a bandwagon track, a lot of these type of acts have been spawning over the past year. Even with it lacking any true originality, it’s still a talented work of art. The leads over the heavy rhythm riffing are neat. I’m on the fence with this, I dig it but it’s nothing I’d play on purpose. Oh and the video is boring as hell.
