I’m not the biggest As I Lay Dying fan but this track isn’t bad! Listen to “Cauterize” now!

Next up is a band I’ve liked for about 7 years now. That’s right, metal head Mergel loves himself some Muse. The progressive alt-rock style and Matt’s singing is damn good. All of the arrangements on their albums are always so good to listen to. With that said, I didn’t listen to their last album that dropped in 2009. Now I’m sitting here jammin to “Survival” from their new album “The 2nd Law” that is set to be released on Sept 17th.

Honestly, with the way this song is performed and with the lyrics, I can see why the Olympics is using this song as their official song this year. Not to mention, I mean Muse seems to be on anything of major importance in pop culture anymore. I bet this track will be the opening track on the new album, I can just sense the second track would be groove/riff heavy and rockin. I love Muse.
