In no way do I think Cancer is funny or that this is a burn on Korn. I just think it’s a little odd that a band who must have nearly a billion dollars in the bank is asking people to donate. With that said, if you can spare, please donate.

The Korn family is saddened to hear one of its own, the band’s former head of security, Bill Sitkiewicz, is battling Cancer. Please pray for our dear brother and help support anyway you can.

Bill’s wife(?) posted this on the Fundraiser page:
Bill was originally diagnosed with stage II colorectal cancer in April 2012. The news of Bill’s cancer shocked his tight knit family of eight. After two long months of chemotherapy and radiation, his wonderful doctors at Loyola performed surgery to remove his colon. Surgery went well, but, unfortunately, he developed an infection, which led to another surgery and a longer recuperation time. After many post-surgery tests, Bill’s doctors found cancer in his lymph nodes and liver with his cancer progressing from stage II to stage III. As a result, he has started a much more aggressive round of chemotherapy on December 14, 2012, which will last three to six months. His doctors are confident in winning his battle to cancer, but as you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll cancer is taking on his family is tremendous. Due to immense medical bills and only one income, his family is struggling to meet their financial responsibilities. On February 7, 2013 we will be holding a benefit at The Liars Club Chicago, to help them through this difficult time.
We ask for your assistance by participating in the fundraising event and/or donating on this page. All proceeds will go towards Bill’s medical expenses that are not covered by insurance.
Through the years, Bill has protected his family at home and others in his career as a bodyguard. Now he needs our help in this fight!
Thank you in advance for your love, support, concern, and generosity!
Best of luck and I hope he pulls through. Shit like this is heavy for anyone, no matter who they are. Here is a link to the fundraiser: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/1Pe13
