Firewind releases a music video for their ballad “Edge Of A Dream” and this is one of my first true listens to this band. It’s nice to take a break from the chaos and screams and get into some emotional/sentimental music with actual singing, piano, string instruments and a sweet guitar solo but this song and video was incredibly boring. The song features Apocalyptica but in the video it’s just some woman. I’m struggling to give an actual fuck about this band for two reasons now: I’m not the target audience and I kinda hate Gus for taking Zakk Wylde’s spot in Ozzy. I know it’s not his fault but I do feel some hostility towards him, he even does a Wylde arm raise at the end of the video. Was he mocking him? Am I reading to much into it?
