NACHTMYSTIUM launches part 3 of the making of ‘Silencing Machine’; Punk News.org hosts exclusive NACHTMYSTIUM contest
On July 30th in Europe and July 31st in North America, the Chicago-based black metal outfit NACHTMYSTIUM is set to release Silencing Machine, their 6th full length album and next celebrated chapter in the band’s storied career. To give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Silencing Machine, NACHTMYSTIUM has now launched the third of five in-studio videos featuring exclusive footage and interviews with the band. Filmed and edited by Justin Baron, who recently did the YAKUZA documentary, part 3 spotlights bassist Will Lindsay, and it can be viewed above.

The Woods of Ypres: The Pursuit of the Beard Contest – Simplified
I’m running this lil ol contest to see who can grow the best beard over the next three months to celebrate Woods of Ypres and their upcoming album Woods V: Grey Skies and Electric Light. In case some of you cannot read or thought it was hard to understand the rules and steps…I’ll break it down and simplify for you.
1 – SHAVE.
This is rather simple. Grab a razor, shave you face completely clean.
2 – TAKE A PICTURE
The clearer the better. Blurry cell phone pics will burden us and ruin your chances more than likely.
3 – EMAIL ME
Send an email of your face to headbangorgtfo@hotmail.com (Nudes or any funny business will automatically disqualify you and I will laugh at your misfortune) ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BETWEEN SEPT 2ND 2011 AND SEPT 15TH 2011. ANYTHING AFTER THE 16TH WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
