A/V Update: Arch Enemy, Vampires Everywhere!, Over Your Threshold, Heartist & Mnemic

arch enemyArch Enemy begins this A/V Update with a very real music video for Cruelty Without Beauty. The message is dark and it’s a wake up call for those oblivious as to what is going on. The video features clips of animals in labs being held prisoner for scientific gain. For those sensitive to things like this, it will strike a nerve in you. I’m warning you that while the video is not too bloody, it’s still sickening. In between gruesome clips, Angela is screaming into the camera. The rest of the band is no where in site. Pay attention during the solo and when the music is picking back up as statistics fill the screen with information you do not want to believe. Enjoy the video is you can. Regardless, the song is still good.

Next is a lyric video for Vampires Everywhere! for their song “Star of 666″. This is just a Marilyn Manson knock off. Listen to it and prove me wrong.

Over Your Threshold brings you some sweet technical death metal with a studio dub over live video. Check out the video for their song “Cortical Blindness”! Dat fretless bass!!!

Next is Heartist, Roadrunner’s newest band they brign to the party. The music is good, the vocals are good too, both singing and screaming. People are comparing them to Periphery but there is only a slight similarity, however I can see the comparison. However, this band is it’s own entity and it’s pretty good! Check out the lyric video for their song “Disconnected”.

The new Mnemic video has a cool concept, just the band jamming out on a shipping dock surrounded by skids and freight. Neat! That’s a new one and I appreciate it because it’s NOT an abandoned warehouse or empty forest. Some of the riffing is very Fear Factory but the song is good! Enjoy Mnemic’s “I’ve Been You”
